ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Founded in 1997, New York Int'l Children's Film Festival presents intelligent, passionate, provocative and entertaining film programs that cultivate an appreciation for the arts, stimulate critical thought, and promote media literacy. Pulling from thousands of submissions from all over the world, the Festival is North America's largest festival of film for children and teens age 3-18. The 2014 edition unspools Mar 7-Mar 30 at theaters around Manhattan, with 100+ films plus gala premieres, retrospectives, filmmaker Q&As, production workshops, receptions, audience voting, and the annual NYICFF Awards Ceremony.
