  SOCIALIZE:

NYICFF was founded in 1997 to promote intelligent, passionate, provocative cinematic works for ages 3-18 and to help define a more relevant and compelling film for kids. Since its launch, the event has grown to become the largest festival for children and teens in North America. The festival's wide global reach and exacting selection criteria provide a level of programming on par with the world's elite festivals for adults. Since 2000, all screenings have sold out in advance.

Interns make the world go round!

Interns assist in:

  • Programming
  • School Outreach
  • Production Workshops
  • Sponsorship and Marketing
  • Development

Applicants must be responsible, have excellent communication skills and have a strong interest in film. This is a great opportunity to get involved in a major city-wide event and hours may be applied towards school credit if arranged with department.

If interested and can commit at least 12 hours/week, please send a cover letter and resume with "film fest internship" in the subject line to intern@gkids.com

Make an in-kind donation of time, products or services.

NYICFF has ongoing needs for design and printing services; airline and hotel accommodations for visiting filmmakers; computer, video and electronics equipment; as well as professional consultants and skilled volunteers at all levels in the organization, including Festival venues and events.
