KIDS MAKE MOVIES! Sign up for NYICFF's one- and two-week filmmaking camps during the February, April and Summer School breaks. Classes are offered in a variety of animation and live action filmmaking techniques for grades K-9. Students will conceive, storyboard, write, shoot, draw, model, create sets, and perform on camera to create a completed short film. Workshops have included Create-a-Cartoon, Multimedia Storytelling, Moviemaking Master Class, Rotoscope Animation, Claymation and more!

Useful info:

  • Classes are held Monday-Friday
  • Unless otherwise noted, all classes are from 10am to 4pm
  • Extended care is available from 8am to 10am and from 4pm to 6pm. The charge for extended care is $5/hour per student.
  • There will be a one hour lunch recess each day - students should bring a packed lunch.
  • All students will receive a DVD copy of and a link to their final film.
