A young and well-known independent French filmmaker, Céline Sciamma has directed three critically acclaimed feature films: Waterlilies, Tomboy and Girlhood. In writing the screenplay for My Life as a Zucchini, inspired by Gilles Paris’ book, she accepted to dive once again into a story of childhood, illuminating the project with a fresh and graceful perspective.
